01POLICY
- 01Canada only, mail-in only. AIM Grading Lab Ltd. accepts submissions from and returns orders to Canadian addresses only. We do not accept drop-offs. Use the lab address on your confirmed packing slip, not an address found elsewhere. AIM Grading Lab Ltd., PO BOX 12, Kelowna STN Main, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1Z9.
- 02Maximum card value. Only cards valued at $1,000 CAD or less per card are accepted. Do not send higher-value cards or understate their value. A parcel’s total declared value is the sum of its eligible cards; the per-card cap is not a parcel insurance limit or a guarantee of a claim payout.
- 03Packing. Place each card in a penny sleeve and then a semi-rigid holder. Secure holders between cardboard without applying tape or rubber bands to cards or sleeves. Use a suitable rigid mailer or box with protective packing and include the packing slip. Do not use screw-down holders. Send no more than 50 cards per package.
- 04Inbound transit. Send your cards using Canada Post only and pay the inbound postage. Use tracking and consider insurance for the total value. Retain your receipt, tracking number and evidence of contents and condition. Inbound claims generally follow your agreement with the carrier, subject to applicable law. Our lab turnaround begins when the package is scanned in, not when it is posted or marked out for delivery.
- 05Service speeds. Same day ($20 CAD per card): eligible packages received by 11:00 AM Pacific on a business day are scheduled to ship back that day; later packages ship the next business day. Saver ($15 CAD per card) ships within 5 business days of receipt. Business days are Monday to Friday excluding BC statutory holidays. Shipping back means dispatch, not arrival at your address. We will communicate material delays.
- 06Return shipping. Within Canada, return shipping is $19.99 CAD per order up to 50 slabs, using Canada Post Expedited with tracking and a signature on delivery. For orders over 50 cards, contact us before ordering. If a parcel is returned because you provided an incorrect address or did not collect it, you pay the actual return and redelivery costs. This does not apply to an AIM error or override your statutory rights. Check your return address carefully and notify us before dispatch if it changes.
- 07Daily schedule. Parcel pickup is at 11:00 AM Pacific and drop-off is at 4:00 PM Pacific. The Same day receipt cutoff remains 11:00 AM Pacific. These are AIM’s parcel-handling times, not an invitation for customer drop-offs.
- 08AIM-backed coverage. AIM Grading Lab Ltd. pays eligible return-shipping and in-lab claims directly; this is not third-party insurance. Return-shipping coverage is included free for each card declared at $250 CAD or less. For each card declared above $250 up to $1,000 CAD, return-shipping coverage is optional at $5 CAD per card; if you decline it, that card has no optional return-shipping coverage and you are not charged. AIM’s in-lab coverage limit is $1,000 CAD per card. The deductible is $0. Return-parcel coverage is the sum of the eligible coverage for its covered cards, up to $1,000 CAD per covered card, with no separate parcel cap. [[Confirm AIM-backed coverage exclusions and evidence requirements before accepting shipments]]. This draft does not finalise the coverage agreement. Do not dispatch until the terms and lawful operation of this arrangement are confirmed. Nothing in this coverage policy removes your statutory rights.
- 09Lost or damaged parcels. Report damage or a parcel marked delivered but not received to info@aimgrading.com within 12 hours after the carrier’s delivery confirmation. If a parcel has not been marked delivered, report it on the day after the carrier’s expected delivery date. Include the order number, tracking reference, photographs where available and a description. Keep all packaging and the cards until the claim is resolved. AIM will assess claims under its coverage terms, pay eligible claims directly and coordinate return-shipment investigations with the carrier. [[Legal review of AIM reporting deadlines and confirmation of applicable carrier claim deadlines]]. These reporting requirements do not override statutory rights or remedies. Claims may require proof of value; declaring a value alone does not establish reimbursement.
- 10Remedies and limits. Payment depends on the facts, applicable law and the relevant coverage; duplicate recovery for the same loss is not permitted. Carrier or insurer decisions do not automatically determine or extinguish AIM’s own legal responsibility. Nothing in this policy excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
